    Eternity Arch

Eternity Arch The design theme for the main bridge of Cross Bay Link founds on the concept of the “Eternity Arch”, a design proposal most welcomed by the public.

The Eternity Arch adopts a "single corridor" configuration – inclined arches that reaches a modest height of 70m and a single 34.3m-wide deck serves the multiple functions of a dual two-lane carriageway, a cycle track and a footpath. Hanged by suspended cables, the deck sails between the leaning arches as if not touching.

Two outwardly leaning arches and the gradually narrowing piers form an inter-connected ring. To view from both shores, it appears as a mathematical symbol of infinity, which echoes with the vibrant town of Tseung Kwan O.
